Piaget Altiplano Square

I'm very excited to share a few pics of my new Piaget Altiplano Square. I've been looking for this watch for months and finally found it on the West Coast!

This is a 33mm case in WG. The movement is the 430 P, which Piaget uses for the newer version of this watch, and Cartier uses in the Santos Dumont. I like the Roman Numerals of this model a lot better than the batons of the newest version.

The pictures don't do justice to the sunburst silver dial, which is much more appealing than a standard white or black dial.

I got the strap custom-made from Camille Fournet, and it was well worth the 5 weeks wait! The color is 'Cognac', which is kind of red/wine/brown color. Here again, the pics from my Iphone don't do it justice. It's matt Aligator with square scales and this strap is only 3mm thick, which fits the case very nicely.

The watch is about 3.5mm thick. It looks very understated and only connoisseurs notice it.

Let me know your thoughts!

Pure elegance and it looks perfect on your wrist. May your Piaget Altiplano always time happy moments for you. Here's my (also hot off the oven!) Cartier Tank Louis Cartier saying hi. It also has the Piaget 430 ultra thin movement. :) Cheers Robin :) ...

very cool! [nt]
