Piaget Altiplano Square is the original Altiplano

Dear DrFrenchboy,

Welcome to our forum and congratulations on the new watch.
It is not so easy to find....as you have .er...found. wink
It must be a fashion phase but round watches are back temporarily.

You may already knonw that the very first Piaget Altiplano was actually square. It was an age when so called  'shaped' cases were fashionable and it fitted with the theme of a high plateau Altiplano flat and high in S America.

Thus, you have a strong link to the patrimony of the brand in their heyday with the thinnest movement in the world  then.....and next the Piaget Altiplano 38mm 900P that is the thinnest again as a complete watch but alas round....

Regards,
MTF
