Universal Geneve UG1 66 - UG 2 67 did have this feature

Hello again,
just found the information on the net: as I suspected Universal Geneve was not only the first one to use a micro rotor,
but also to use the second ball bearings.
On an Italian watch forum it was also discussed that this might have been an inspiration for Patek's 240.
Since my Italian is not great, not that I can speak it at all actually, that was the only information that I could gather from our Italian watch fans.
Now, do I think I paid too much for my caliber 240 or for a Paiget?
Not the slightest as both, better all three, are a league for their own.
This type of connections between the makers are the essence of this hobby: who had the inspiration from whom
?
Look forward to your inquiry at Piaget.
