Like most people, I looked at the watch but thought it was "just" a gold pendant stuck on a dial.

My French is non-existent so I did not know 'broderie' meant 'embroidery'.  Luckily, the current Mrs MTF has sharper eyes and commented that this Altiplano is different.   We looked more closely.........

The "broderie" on the dial is a kind of meeting point between couture and jewelry. That's very logical in the context of Piaget. Thanks for the post! Fx
