better late than never. complete overhaul, watch working flawlessly. did not shell out a cent. piaget good job!

Guys my dad has had the piaget polo 45 for about 2 weeks already. oozing class and the shape is just amazing. The bracelet is uber comfy yet i agree with the others about the sharp edges. maybe a little beveling would be beneficial to its wearers. people ... 

Ouch my heart would have stopped if I saw my watch fly off the wrist

At least we know the deployant clasp is secure since it didn't pop open. Sorry don't know about the loctite but hopefully MTF can get us the answer. Glad to hear that Piaget will take care of the repairs. - AT PS. Below is a pic of the strap screws....

yes my heart did stop but i was in shock. had to happen in a golf swing, the watch must have flown ten feet off the ground and land smack on the cement floor. must have landed on the crystal side or strap as there are virtually no scratches or dents. the ...

I gashed my dato when it was 2 months old or so and my heart ached. I must say, I'm quite surprised the 45 is less robust than I thought. In any case, I'm sure piaget will put you right.

All I can confirm is that Piaget does use glue to lock the screws on those straps for this watch model. It is a common engineering solution. In North America, this may be Loctite brand or "Loctite-like" material. There are many QC steps to ensure adequate... 

yup there was no loctite-like substance on screws

the piaget technicians used a loupe and inspected all 4 screws and all were missing the adhesive/glue to secure the screws. what is surprising is that none of the screws had them. clearly this step was overlooked. like i said the other polos had the subst...

getting seriously annoyed had the watch less than two weeks til this happened. still in switzerland headquarters being operetaed. estimate is february. im loosing valuable wrist time
