The WG version of the Gouverneur Tourbillon
At the SIHH 2014, a new version of the Gouverneur Tourbillon was unveiled with a WG case.
The Gouverneur Tourbillon is a watch much more original than it looks at first glance. I will not speak about the case, half round... half oval... but about the combo of complication.
It is always fascinating to observe the fast behaviour of the flying tourbillon and to compare it with the slow complication of the moonphase.
The WG version is much sober maybe a bit too discrete for my taste. The PG version has the additional touch of warmth and it is the reason why I prefer the original version.
Anyway, this WG version remains a nice watch for people who look for a discreet elegance.
