A nod to summertime

It's been unseasonably cool here in Los Angeles lately, and while I appreciate the lower temps when I'm hiking, I do think August  should be the height of summer!  It should be hot, and I should be drinking cocktails poolside!  So, in honor of all things summery, fun and colorful I thought I'd post pictures of some of my favorite "cocktails."

The "Mojito" ring is my favorite, but all the selections are fun, breezy and simply beautiful!  The jewelry designers at Piaget are very inventive!

I especially love how Piaget designed the Mojito ring. The lime is brilliant! Cheers, Anthony...

The lime is what sold it for me also!

It's just so whimsical and summery. I'd love to see this collection in person, as I think Piaget's gem-setting is second to none. Cheers, Daos

The starfruit

Actualyy the starfruit on the Cosmopolitan is pretty impressive, but if considering the whole ring, your choice is also my favorite. Andrew

You're right. The starfruit is actually quite intricate.

I think the bevy of diamonds surrounding it draws the eye away initially, however. Thus, the Mojito is the better overall package. I think we are on the same page with that. Cheers, Daos

Really very impressive designs.

You probably couldn't wear them everyday, but what could be mor perfect for a swanky cocktail party? I would love to see them modeled by someone in real life, but I am vey impressed. Thanks for showing us. Andrew

I volunteer to model them! LOL!

I can't imagine wearing some of the larger pieces out and about, but certainly, as you said, for a cocktail party...brilliant! Piaget continues to offer playful jewelry backed up by serious design work. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Daos

Amazing creations! Piaget does it again.

I'm not usually a fan of cocktail rings on ladies, but these are so extraordinary. That mojito ring with the lime is just so cool! The stones that appear to be set on other stones are very interesting too. Daos, I look forward to seeing some modeling phot...

I'll see if I can find some pictures...
