You are right as i have worn Hublot big Bang, Royal Oak Offshore and only watch which is close in comfort to the Piaget is the Rubber Patek Aquanaut 5167A...

i wish they had a leather strap option. i stopped using my polo 45 chrono due to very uncomfy strap

Actually it is ideal for our middle east desert climate. Leather wears out fast...

Spoon, Welcome. As some people have mentioned, it is unusual that you are uncomfortable. The Piaget Polo FortyFive strap is uncommonly comfortable because EACH strap is fully custom fitted to EACH owner. I suspect it is a fitting mishap and can be re-fitt...
