I got the chance to put the two 38 mm Altiplano models side by side, one the new 900P, ultra-ultra-thin Altiplano, the other the classic two hand model with caliber 430P. And then in profile, with the 900P on top: The 430P based watch is 6 mm thick, which...

But when I tried it, it's so thin I felt very weird wearing it. It's very nicely finished though. A very nice watch. I prefer the 900P of the two as it's very special. Thanks for sharing Bill! Cheers Robin

Bill, Your report may be the first that I have seen to document both watches side by side. When first launched, I also noted in my review that the 900P had "high" lugs angled to give more height than expected. Maybe its or wearing comfort. I choose the 90...

I looked at the 900P this week at the boutique in Hong Kong. I love the look at concept, but I think it might be too thin (is that possible?). I feel sort of the same about my JLC platinum Jubilee piece. Makes a wonderful black tie piece, but feels almost...
